Smiley Entertainment was launched in 2008 by founder Raymon Smiley. Since he was seventeen, Smiley has worked in almost every division of the entertainment industry. With a foundation in music publishing and artist management, Smiley started his first full time job with McSpadden-Smith Music, where he had his first internship while attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
In 2000 Smiley departed from McSpadden-Smith to take on new endeavors as an editor in the for Billboard Publications (Billboard Magazine) in Nashville and New York City. After a year and a half he returned to Nashville as well as to McSpadden-Smith Music (Renamed: Smith Music and Management) as the head of publishing. There he garnered cuts by such artists as: Faith Hill, Celine Dion, Garth Brooks, Anita Baker, Earth Wind & Fire and Soundtracks to Runaway Bride, Jungle to Jungle and Indecent Proposal. In 2001 Smith Music and Management sold to Broadway Video out of New York City and Los Angeles.
With contacts formed in Los Angeles he started producing and developing movies and television with Endorphin Films. In 2008 Smiley started a company with one goal: Great Entertainment!
